INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Open the following PDF file with the text “8 Ways Tech Has Completely Rewired Our Brains”. Identify all the sentences there in the Present Perfect that are used and write down those sentences in your notebook.

2. First, read the text.

3. Second, underline the sentences in the Present Perfect Tense.

4. Keep your notes for further exercises.

5. Draw two columns:

In the first column record the sentences that you identified from the text.
In the second column write how the use of the present perfect being represented..

Uses of the present perfect

Vigent: an action or situation that started in the past and continues in the present.

I have used this celphone since last year(= and I still do.)
She has been learning to use zoom along this school year (= the process of learning is not over yet.)
Record: an action performed repetitively

We have changed our video console several times.
Recent: an action that was completed in the very recent past, expressed by 'just'.

I have just changed my mobile phone.
Consequence: an action or event that has a consequence in the present.
We have changed our habits as a consequence of technology.
