    Dear students, here you can check your English program, so you can see what is expected from you to learn this year.

    This site was created for you to enhance your English input from your classroom to this digital place. We hope it will be worthwhile for you. So, here it is, feel free to browse it and we also want you to learn more English and have fun. It has your program, videos, activities and many things that will be helpful for you.

    Go to this site about Representaciones Mentales, make a click and then click on Formulario, then click again and choose Ir al Formulario en Directo to do the questionnaire. When you finish doing that, just click on Enviar and that´s all. So, let´s begin, and click here.

    Here, it is your IV grade English program, so you can check what you are going to see throughtout the year.

    To give some personal information you have to say: your name, your age, the name of your last school, how many brothers and sisters do you have, what do your parents do, something that you do in your free time, for example you can say: I like to play videogames or I like to play basketball, something like that.

    THIS IS AN EXAMPLE, SO TAKE NOTES AND PREPARE YOUR OWN INFORMATION.

    7. What do you do in your free time? I like to go to the movies on Sundays and play soccer with my friends.

    8. When were you born? I was born on May 5th, 1995.

    9. Where are you from? I am from Tampico, Tamaulipas.

    10. What is your favorite subject? My favorite subject is English.

    Creating a survey


    Linguistic Learning Objective:
    You are going to practice making questions in present tense.
    You will report on the results.

    Technological skills:
    You will learn how to create a survey using Forms from Google docs.

    Participating groups:
    403A, 403B, 413A.

    Steps:
    Get in groups of 4 and select one of the following topics.
    • Family life
    • Entertainment
    • Sport activities
    • Study habits
    • Hobbies
    • daily routines

    Decide what questions you can ask to learn about the students in English IV.
    For example: if you select the topic Family life you may ask things like:
    • Do you have brothers and sisters?
    • How many brothers or sisters do you have?
    • How old are they?
    • Do you have a favorite brother or sister?
    • How many people live in your house?

    Once you have created 10 questions.

    Explore the following tutorial on How to use Forms in Google docs:

    • Pay attention to the types of questions posssible using this tool ( true/false, scale, multiple choice, etc.) .
    • Then in groups write 10 questions in Google forms and create a survey.
    • Publish your survey and send the link to your teacher to publish it in this webiste.
    • We will click on the links to answer them.
